Mentorship Application Now Open!

Our mentorship application is now open! If you need guidance in academics or finding job/internship/research opportunities for the environmental field, just fill this form out and we'll find someone for you! Applications are due Thursday, October 17th at 11:59 pm.

2013 Outdoor Nation Summit

One of our partners, Outdoor Nation, is holding outdoor conferences throughout the US. They will be holding a conference in Los Angeles, CA on Oct 19- 20. SCA would love to sponsor ESSN students to attend this event. This is an opportunity for you to get outdoor leadership training and network with other outdoor organizations including SCA's alumni & staff. Environmental Science Welcome Event

When/Where: 10/8 (Tuesday of second week) from 4-6pm, location TBA.

Come learn more about the Environmental Science major, internships, research, minors, scholarships and other opportunities from our academic counselor, Royce Dieckmann. Also, learn how you can get more involved through the numerous clubs/organizations that will be at the tabling session to follow the informational session. Clubs include: E3, ART ESLP, Climate 411, USGBC, Dig It, Engineers Without Borders, Sustainable Youth, Powersave Campus, and more!

Capture the Flag

Come meet new and old friends as we all get together in a game of Capture the Flag for our first event of the year! If you have never played Capture the Flag before, there will be ESSN board members nearby who can teach you how to play so no worries! 

When/Where: This Friday (9/27) 6pm at Sculpture Garden (There will be a club member meeting at Bruin Bear at 5:50 for those that want to walk up together)
